HAYAT
Al-Hayy
This piece is a sculptural interpretation of one of the names of God, Al-Hayy, The Ever-Living. Inspired by the rhythm of Islamic calligraphy, the form translates life into continuous vertical movement, evoking water as energy — flowing, rising, and never static. Conceived as a freestanding spatial piece, Hayat is designed to exist between sculpture and architecture. Planned in microcement or hard gypsum, the material emphasizes mass, tactility, and presence. Part of the Hayat Series, the work explores life not as a symbol, but as a spatial experience.
